Discover the wild world of the Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep through hands-on exploration at the National Bighorn Sheep Center. Learn about lambing cliffs, bighorn adaptations, and dominance battles through hands-on, predator-prey relationships and more! Open daily 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.

Directions: Drive 38 miles east toward Dubois. When you get to town center, turn right on Big Horn Lane and follow to the National Big Horn Sheep Center.
The Capital Christmas tree graced the front lawn of the White House in 2010. Want to visit where this spectacular tree originated? Visit the Bridger-Teton National Forest. It offers more than 3.4 million acres with pristine watersheds, abundant wildlife, and immense wild lands. It is the largest intact ecosystem in the lower 48 United States.

Directions: Head west on US-26 W/US-287 N toward Pinto Ranch Rd. Continue on US-26 W to Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 15 Miles
Directions: Brooks Lake is located 15 miles down highway 26/287 (east bound). Turn onto Brooks Lake Road and travel another 6 miles down a gravel road to reach Brooks Lake.
Looking for a scenic drive? Then we have one for you. Drive this road at dawn or dusk for an increased chance of seeing wildlife.
Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 1 Mile
Directions: Turn left out of our parking lot, drive 1 mile and make the first right. This 15-mile road will wind you all the way down to the valley floor at Hatchet Resort.
Named after Grand Teton Mountain, which is the tallest mountain (13,770 feet) in the Teton Range, Grand Teton National Park preserves a spectacular landscape rich in majestic mountains, pristine lakes, and extraordinary wildlife.

Directions: Head west on US-26 W/US-287 N toward Pinto Ranch Rd. Continue on US-26 W. Turn left at Antelope Flats Rd. Turn right to stay on Antelope Flats Rd. Continue onto Lower Gros Ventre Road to Grand Teton National Park.
Enjoy a break from snowmobiling and head to Jackson Hole for a day of shopping, art gazing, and dining. During the beautiful summer months, Jackson offers a wide variety of activities. While camping and hiking are the most popular, you can fill your days with whitewater rafting, golfing, fishing, and horseback riding. In the winter, hit the slopes or enjoy off-slope options such as snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, dog sledding and wildlife safaris.

Directions: Head west on us-26 W/US-287 N toward Pinto Ranch Rd. Continue on US-26 W to Jackson Hole.
Jenny Lake, formed by melting glaciers about 60,000 years ago, is a beautiful blue mountain lake set in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. Numerous hiking trails are offered at the lake. Jenny Lake is another staff favorite!
Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 30 Miles
Directions: Drive 16 miles to Moran then turn right. Go 4 miles and make a left at Jackson Lake Junction. Drive 10 more miles to reach Jenny Lake, which will be on the right. Don’t forget your camera!
Moose Visitor Center, in Grand Teton National Park, is open year-round, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and from 8 AM to 7 PM in the summer. The Moose Visitor Center features endangered species exhibits, a relief model of the park, and an introductory video. It's a wonderful place to visit.
Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 35 Miles
Directions: Drive 16 miles to Moran Junction. Stay to your left and travel 20 miles south toward Jackson. As you approach Moose Visitor Center turn right. Turn left at the stop sign to enter the visitor center.
Oxbow Bend is a rich wildlife habit for many types of animals. When the water is calm the reflections of the mountains are quite vivid. Bring your camera!
Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 19 Miles
Directions: Drive 16 miles to Moran Junction, make a right into the Grand Teton Park Entrance, and drive 3 miles to beautiful views of Mount Moran and Jackson Lake. You will see open meadows on the left hand side with a braided section of the Snake River.
Signal Mountain offers panoramic views of the surrounding country. The paved road at the top of Signal Mountain has two of the best overlooks - Jackson Lake and Jackson Point - spectacular sights!
Distance from Togwotee Mountain Lodge: 30 Miles
Directions: Drive 16 miles to Moran Junction and then turn right. Drive 4 miles and turn left at Jackson Lake Junction. Drive 4 miles past the junction to Signal Mountain Road. Turn left and in less than 5 miles you will be at the vista.
Want to do some fishing? The bring your fishing pole and head for Wind River Lake for fishing with a great view of the Breccia Cliffs.

Directions: Make a left out of our parking lot, drive 8 miles down the beautiful Togwotee Trail, and look on your left hand side for Wind River Lake.
Experience America’s First National Park. Yellowstone National Park is home to a large variety of wildlife and the famous Old Faithful geyser as well as a collection of the world’s most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

Directions: Head west on US-26 W/US-287 N toward Pinto Ranch Rd. Turn right at US-191N/US-287 N/US-89 N. Turn right at Grand Loop Rd/US-20 E. Continue on US-20 E. Continue onto Grand Loop Rd to Yellowstone National Park.
