Join our sister company Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures in Jackson for a snowmobile tour into the National Forests surrounding Jackson. We offer three forest tours from Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures in Jackson. Guests staying at Togwotee Mountain Lodge will need to travel to Jackson to meet at Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures. Transportation is not provided to Jackson from Togwotee for Forest Tours but can be arranged for $40.00 per person in addition to the tour cost. All tours include breakfast in the morning, transportation from Jackson to the snowmobile location and back, snowmobile, guide service, lunch, clothing, gas, oil and helmet.
The Granite Hot Springs Tour is a unique snowmobiling tour in Jackson Hole, providing snowmobilers with a hot soak at their destination. While you enjoy soaking in these natural mountain hot springs ranging in temperature from ninety nine degrees to one hundred and twelve degree water, your Guide will enjoy cooking your lunch of a salmon or steak meal in the brisk mountain air. This tour meets in Jackson and travels 40 min. south of Jackson to the snowmobile location. The round trip mileage is 30 miles. This tour does not provide many off trail riding opportunities. The Gros Venture Tour is located a few miles north of Jackson and travels into the Gros Venture river drainage on the Continental Divide Trail system. "Outclassed by the visually more impressive Tetons, some 287 million years their junior, the rounded peaks, immensely gently sloping canyons, steep draws and gullies, and thick forest of the Gros Ventres convey a sense of age, a primeval quality" Jackson Hole Guide, August 7th, 1980
This tour provides many opportunities for seeing elk, big horn sheep and moose. Have lunch at Goosewing Ranch and enjoy an easy afternoon of exploring the Gros Venture area.
Note for Togwotee Lodge Guests: Guests staying at Togwotee Mountain Lodge can ride the trail system into the Gros Venture and Goose Wing Lodge and back in one day. A guide is not required to ride into the Gros Venture. If a group (8-10 snowmobiles) is staying at the lodge we can arrange a guided snowmobile trip into the Gros Venture from the Lodge as well.
The Togwotee Day Tour is the perfect destination snowmobile trip outside of Yellowstone National Park. We can pick you up at your hotel in Jackson or meet us at our town location. Enjoy a hearty breakfast in Jackson then be transported in your street cloths to Togwotee Mountain Lodge. After you arrive at the lodge we will suit you up and assign a snowmobile, then off for an winter adventure! The Lodge is located on the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail System (CDST) with access to 600 miles of groomed trails and 2.5million acres of off trail riding opportunities. The CDST is a world-class snowmobile destination for deep powder off trail snowmobiling. The CDST has been rated as one of the top two destinations in the West for an over all riding experience by Snowest Readers in the Western Guide to Snowmobiling. Note for Togwotee Lodge Guests: Togwotee Mountain Lodge is located on the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail System and will be convenient (and less expensive) for our guests to join a guided group at the lodge and not join the inclusive tour with transportation from Jackson.
If you wish to transport yourself to Togwotee Lodge and join a guided group or adventure off on your own you can save some money. Our rates on snowmobile rentals from the lodge would apply and they include the snowmobile, 1-tank of gas and oil, helmet, and group guide service if desired. The clothing is available for $15.00 per day.
