Trout fishing in Northwest Wyoming is the best. It does not take an expert to catch fish in this region. For the kids, we have a fully stocked trout pond on property, and it’s not catch and release! Blackrock creek is across the road from the lodge and usually has 6-12 inch cutthroat trout in the waters. The Buffalo Fork River is a short 10 min drive; sections of the river provide great views of the Teton Mountain Range. Trout are plentiful in this river ranging from 8-16 inches on average. The Snake River is only a 20 min drive from Togwotee. Sections accessed with in the park will require a park pass. The Snake River is a world-class trout river, producing some monster fish. There are a few lakes in the area and within the park as well, check with Ben at the front office for a fishing report and suggestions.
