Hearty meat ‘n potato dishes restore energy from long days out in the mountains and pack rich local flavors as comforting as the breathtaking landscape which surrounds them. The ingredients used in many dishes are local, seasonal and when possible, organic. All of our fish dishes meet the stringent sustainability practices of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program’s “Best” or “Good Alternative” list. Menus and meals are cooked with “heart,” always with just the right amount of herbs and spices, and just enough to retain the fresh flavor and nutrients.

Join us for a delicious breakfast in the Grizzly Grill. We offer a full breakfast buffet and our hours are from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM (winter). Typically included in the buffet are:

We serve lunch from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM (winter only), and dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (summer/winter).
During the summer season we do not offer in-house lunch options. Lunch is offered as a "to go' option only. See below for more details.
Box Lunches (summer/winter)
Here at Togwotee, “box lunch” doesn’t mean a bologna sandwich and a bag of chips. Bakery fresh breads, hearty sliced deli meats and freshly prepared desserts are all available. You pick ’em, we build ’em and you’re good to go! So, if you’re planning a trip into the park or want to eat out on the trail during a full day of riding, take one of these along so you won’t go hungry. Request slips are available at the Front Desk and must be turned in the night before lunch is requested.
Special Diets
Vegetarian entrees are offered on each menu. While we are unable to accommodate individual taste or food preferences, we will create meals for those with special dietary needs such as gluten-free, or specific allergen-free dishes when needed. Simply let the dining room know about any special requirements by talking to one of our food servers or managers. In order to meet your needs, please let us know as far in advance as possible.
Snacks
Need something in between meals, or to take on a walk or a ride? The Angle Mountain Gas Station & Convenience Store is located in the main parking lot across from the lodge and carries various snacks, beverages, and incidentals including charcoal for cabin grills. Alcoholic beverages are also available. The store’s hours of operation vary throughout the year; please call the Front Desk for more information.
The Bear’s Den Gift Shop is located in the main lodge across the lobby from the Front Desk. Snack foods & beverages are available seasonally.
We also offer complimentary coffee in the lobby near the Front Desk.
