The Absaroka Mountains have been getting a generous dosage of snow these past few weeks with nearly 80 inches of light fluffy snow on top of Angle Mountain. The best part about it is it just keeps falling making for world-class powder conditions. There is no better time to head out here and let us take you on a skiing vacation you will never forget.
This last storm was very generous to us up here at Togwotee with over twelve inches of new snow! It was a welcomed sight for the group of skiers we took out on Thursday. They returned to the lodge with ear to ear grins. Yep, that’s what all day long face shots of fresh powder will do to you! In fact, I am a little reluctant to tell you just how good it is, you’ll have to find out for yourself!
The snow continues to fly up here at Togwotee Mountain Lodge, and the skiing is getting better and better! With the holidays narrowing in, we are looking forward to the busy days ahead. The guides have been out exploring new terrain and can’t wait to take you to their secret powder stashes.
Well, we had our first skiers of the season join us on Angle Mountain this last week, including Flat Ben. I can't deny it, the snow was perfect! It was that light fluffy snow, completely unscathed, that instigates a grin from ear to ear. I think it is safe to say they went home satisfied. As I write this, Michael and Shoveler are out exploring new terrain, and the sky is threatening with more snow. Things are looking good up here at Togwotee Mountain Lodge.
Looks like the La Nina winter has started off with a bang! We have been getting dumped on up here at Angle Mountain. The crew here at Togwotee Mountain Lodge Snowcat Guides has been working hard to set the roads, study the snowpack, and prepare for a great season. With the snow continuing to fly, we are excited about opening this weekend. We hope to see you out there!
Welcome back!!! Winter has come to Jackson Hole. During October Angle Mountain received almost 3 feet of snow. With more snow on the way we have been busy getting things started up here at the Togwotee Mountain Lodge. Guides and drivers will be showing up in the coming weeks to prepare for a “La Nina” winter. Wyoming tends to see a lot of precipitation during a La Nina winter so reserve your spot now as spaces are filling fast!
