Guests of Togwotee Mountain Lodge can conveniently join Yellowstone snowmobiling tours by taking the shuttle on its way to Yellowstone. All Yellowstone tours include an interpretive guide, transportation, and breakfast in Jackson, clothing, snowmobile, gas and oil, lunch in the park and transportation back to the Lodge.

All tours do stop for photographic opportunities at overlooks and other features. The park entry fee is not included. All drivers in Yellowstone must have a valid driver's license. We offer three Yellowstone National Park Snowmobiling Tours.

The Old Faithful Tour

The Old Faithful Tour is a classic snowmobiling adventure that everyone should experience at least once. Have a one-on-one encounter with the finest beauty that nature has to offer. We pick you up at your hotel and provide you with a buffet breakfast. Then, we're off to the trailhead. A hot lunch at the geyser grill lunch, wildlife and Old Faithful make this trip complete.

Mileage: 90 miles round trip

The Canyons Tour

The Canyons Tour enters from the south entrance of Yellowstone and travels up to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone on the eastern roads of the park. This tour does not visit Old Faithful. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Canyons and travel back to the south gate. The canyon is estimated to be 10,000 years old, 20 miles long, 1000 ft deep, and 2500 ft wide. The Yellowstone river, upper falls, and lower falls, have shaped the canyon over thousands of years providing the landscape that is used by many artists as their inspiration.

Mileage: 125 miles round trip – not recommended for elderly double riders.

The Yellowstone Loop Tour

The Yellowstone Loop Tour enters from the south entrance of Yellowstone and travels up to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone on the eastern roads of the park. After a short stop at the Canyon continue on the lower loop of the park to Old Faithful. This tour covers a lot of trail and drivers must be willing and able to maintain the speed limit. This tour is for single riders only and not recommended for the elderly or infirm.

Snowcoach Sight-seeing Tours (Non-Snowmobiling)

Snowcoach tours provide a comfortable, warm way to visit Yellowstone in the cold winter months aboard a 15-passenger van are equipped with tank-like tracks. Sit back, relax and enjoy learning from the specialized knowledge of your Yellowstone driver as you travel through the park en route to Old Faithful. We carry a maximum of 10-12 persons on our Snowcoaches for the comfort of all the riders. All Yellowstone Snowcoach tours include an interpretive guide, transportation, breakfast in Jackson, lunch in the park and transportation back to the Lodge.
