Day Trips to Jackson & the National Elk Refuge

Enjoy a break from snowmobiling and head to Jackson for a day of shopping, art gazing and dining. Guests are transported to the Visitor Center at Jackson where free shuttles are offered to travel around town. At the visitor center, you’ll have the option to join the National Elk Refuge Sleigh Ride. The van departs at 8 AM for Jackson and will depart Jackson at 3 PM for a 4 PM arrival back to the lodge. Reservations are only taken in advance for groups of 8-14 people. Smaller groups may sign up after arrival. Trips require a minimum of four people.

Night Trips to Jackson
Wednesdays & Fridays
Explore the local wildlife at Jackson’s night scene! We’ll depart Togwotee at 6 PM after dinner and take you directly to the Jackson Town Square where you’ll be steps away from the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Wort Hotel’s Sliver Dollar Bar. The shuttle will arrange to meet guests at the town square at midnight for a 1 AM return to Togwotee. We do require a minimum of 6 guests for the trip to occur. Guests can book the shuttle on arrival – or a group of 8-10 members can make advanced reservations.
Custom Shuttles
Custom Shuttles can hold 13 guests at max. All of our vans are 15-passenger vans with four-wheel drive. The drive time to Jackson is one hour. The van will drop guests in town and return at a set time and location to pick guests up. We do not offer van transportation around Jackson. Custom Shuttles are subject to availability and can be reserved 5 days in advance only due to scheduling complexities.
Arrival and Departure Transportation for Lodging Guests
Our package for three nights or more include transportation for arrival and departure. Guests staying at the Lodge on a room-only rate can add on transportation for arrival and departure for $40 per person. We do not offer transportation for snowmobiling beyond the inclusive tours offered through Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures in Jackson.
