Our winter season runs early December to the first week of April. We average anywhere from 400 to 600 inches of snow during that time and cater to snowmobilers and powder skiers. TML is located on 600 miles of groomed trails and 2.5 million acres of off trail riding opportunities in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Our guests join us from all over the world to enjoy some of the best powder in the west and scenery too! We also host a Snow Cat Skiing operation that takes country skiers to the top of Angle Mountain and a dog yard for dog sledding with Continental Divide Dog Sleds Adventures. We have approximately 100 employees in the winter with our snowmobile and ski operations.
Our summer season dates are from June to mid-September. In the summer our central location to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and Jackson Hole make us the perfect base for park visitors. Most of our summer guests are families, couples, corporate groups, church groups, and weddings wanting to experience Jackson Hole. TML employs a staff of 60 during the summer season. The daytime highs are usually between 75-85 degrees with a few days reaching 90 degrees. The evening low temperatures will range between 35 and 50 degrees! Togwotee Mountain Lodge offers Horseback Riding in the summer onsite through Castagno Outfitters. Castagno Outfitters hires the wranglers, not Togwotee Mountain Lodge.
Togwotee Mountain Lodge operates 7 days a week. Our staff works 5-day weeks, up to 40 hours per week. We try as best we can to schedule two days off together for all our staff, however this is not always possible. We do offer time and a half overtime after the first 40 hours worked.
