Function of the Job
To prepare and properly present food while being efficient and timely with out compromising quality.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Line cooking and stocking needed items
• Follow all health and safety codes for food handling and operations
• Proper rotation of food stocks
• To ensure food is served at the correct temperature and portion
• Ensuring the recipes are correctly followed and executed
• Keeping communication lines open between supervisors and management in regards to food quality and quantity when in question.
• Maintaining organization and team corporation, being a leader
• Correctly placing orders as listed for ease of serving
• Assist the guest staff when handling guest concerns in a professional and cooperative manner.
• Assist the dishwasher when time permits

Acceptable Qualifications
High School or GED
Previous cooking experience REQUIRED
Safe food handling training preferred
Culinary Education preferred
Ability to stand for 8 hours with a half hour break

Job Description
• Must be a team player, and be able to get along with folks.
• Must be able to prepare a visually appealing, quality product within
prescribed dining hours.
• Must be able to work within budgetary guidelines.
• Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.
• Will be serving lunch & dinner to approximately 50-60 guests.
• Will be responsible for every facet of the Staff Dining Room i.e., cleanliness, sanitation, stocking, décor, and food.

To clean all dishes and pots and pans in a timely and orderly manner. Assisting with the cooks as directed.
