Function of the Job
Servers are responsible for serving guests their meal & ensuring that they have a pleasant dining experience.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Know each menu item- how it is prepared, tastes, serving size, preparation time, etc.
• Know our wine list, alcohol & beer selections
• Be knowledgeable regarding the up sale of different wines & menu selections
• Know the operations of the Aloha POS System
• Know the proper way to wait a table
• Know proper food handling procedures
• Know the procedures for opening & closing the dining room
• Know the proper procedures for keeping the dining room & wait station clean
• Know how to perform each position in the dining room (hosting, cashiering, bussing, etc.)
• Know & follow rules set forth by the training manual
• Know & follow all safety rules & regulations
• Know basic resort information, including activities offered
• Maintain an acceptable appearance
• Perform other duties as set forth by the dining room manager

Dining room manager, Food and Beverage Director, Manager on Duty

Acceptable Qualifications
Wait staff experience REQUIRED
Cash Register experience required
Must be 21 years old to Serve Alcohol
High School or GED
Food and Beverage background preferred
Safe food handling experience preferred
Alcohol serving experience preferred
Customer service oriented
Ability to Walk and Stand for up to 10 hours
Ability to balance, while walking, up to 25 lbs on a tray

Host (ess) / Cashier

Function of the Job
Host(ess)/Cashiers are responsible for seating guests & making reservations. They are also responsible for the cash register (settling tickets & coordinating room charges with the front desk)

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Know the operations of the Aloha POS System (including opening & closing procedures)
• Know the proper dining room set up (table settings for each meal, table placement, etc.)
• Know proper dining room rotation
• Know the menu items (food & beverage) and their preparation details
• Keep the dining room clean & orderly
• Assist servers & bussers
• Greet guests warmly
• Seat guests
• Settle guest checks
• Take reservations
• Know & follow rules set forth by the training manual
• Know & follow all safety rules & regulations
• Perform other duties as set forth by the dining room manager

Dining room Manager, Food and Beverage Director, Manager on Duty

Squirrel or Point of Sale knowledge preferred

Busser / Site Assistant (Summer)

Function of the Job
Bussers are responsible for bussing tables, refilling drinks and water, expediting and running food (when necessary), assisting the servers by prebussing tables and keeping the wait station well stocked and clean. The site assistant has the same duties as well as assisting with the buffet line.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Know how to prebus tables
• Know proper table set up for each meal
• Know menu items (food & beverage) & preparation details
• Know how to seat guests & proper dining room rotation
• Know proper food handling procedures
• Know how to read tickets & tray up food
• Assist with Cookouts 3 - 4 nights per week
• Know & follow rules set forth by the training manual
• Know & follow safety rules & regulations
• Perform other duties as set forth by the dining room manager
